1.1 What is Party Poker Mobile Trainer?

Party Poker Mobile Trainer is a java application/game that is especially adapted for mobile phones. You can practice your Poker skills by playing for fun with play money. There are three skill levels with games up to 10 players. The application includes a fully animated Poker table and additional features such as preference settings, hand history and send to friend functionality. This application can be downloaded and installed on mobile phones. Once installed, it can be played whenever and wherever you like.

1.2 Can I play for real money?

No, the Party Poker Mobile Trainer is a Play for Fun trainer that uses Play Money only. Our connected version with Play for real Money will be launched soon.

1.3 Can I download Party Poker Mobile Trainer?

Java applications can be downloaded to any WAP enabled mobile that is listed in the list of supported mobiles.

1.4 Does Party Poker Mobile Trainer work on my mobile phone?

Our application is currently compatible with the following models:

If you are not sure about the compatibility of your phone, you can attempt the download process and our system will tell you whether or not we support your handset. Alternatively you can find out the make and model by checking under your handset battery. We are adding new handsets regularly, so please come back later if your handset is not currently supported.

1.5 Does Party Poker Mobile Trainer work with all European network operators?

Party Poker Mobile Trainer works with the major European GSM networks - Vodafone, O2, Orange and T-Mobile.

1.6 What if the application doesn't download or work properly?

Compatibility: First check that your handset and UK operator are compatible with our service.

WAP Settings: Check your mobile's WAP settings are correctly configured to allow mobile internet access. The easiest way to set up WAP/GPRS settings is to call the customer service department of your service provider and get them to send you the configuration. You can get the telephone number of your service provider from your phone bill or you can try one of the numbers below:

1.7 Will it cost me anything to download Party Poker Mobile Trainer?

Unlike most java games, Party Poker Mobile Trainer is FREE; however your service provider will charge you standard data tariffs for the over-the-air time it takes to download the game. The time taken depends on the quality of the connection and it may take a few minutes.

1.8 How do I download Party Poker Mobile Trainer?

(A) From this website

Enter your mobile number in the space provided. Do not leave any spaces between the digits e.g. 447764234456. Use the international code for your country and omit the 0 from the start of your number. Then click DOWNLOAD.

In a few moments, you will receive an SMS Message/WAP Push with a link to download the application. You will need to select the link to download the game.

(B) By SMS (UK Only)

Text Poker to 60602 (It doesn't matter if you use upper or lower case). We'll send you an SMS Message/WAP Push with a link to download the application. You will need to select the link to download the game.

1.9 I've received the SMS / WAP Push, how do I activate the download?

1.9.1 General instructions

When the message appears, open it.

Follow the instructions to download Party Poker Mobile Trainer.

If you are asked to connect to a server, click yes if you want to download Party Poker Mobile Trainer.

If asked if you want to install the application, click yes to install Party Poker Mobile Trainer on your mobile.

If a message appears saying the application is untrusted, press yes or continue the installation.

You may need to decide whether to save Party Poker Mobile Trainer on your phone or memory. Choose which ever option is most appropriate for you.

Nokia 3230

• A few minutes after you've ordered Party Poker Mobile Trainer, you will receive a service message via SMS text. There may sometimes be delays if the network is busy.
• When you open this message, you will get an option to 'Retrieve' Party Poker Mobile Trainer. After about 20 seconds you will be shown a description of Party Poker Mobile Trainer.
• You must now select DOWNLOAD to download the application. After the download completes, you will get the message "application saved".
• Party Poker Mobile Trainer is now stored in your 'Applications' menu and you can play it as often as you like.

Nokia 6600 and similar

• When the message appears, press VIEW. On the 'Inbox' screen, press OPTIONS and select DOWNLOAD MESSAGE.
• The WAP session will start and you will need to press YES to download the application. If you are asked 'Connection to server needed, connect?' select YES.
• You will be shown a page with installation instructions, once you have read them, press OPTIONS and select OPEN.
• If asked if you want to install Party Poker Mobile Trainer, select YES and then press OK if asked if you want to continue.
• If you get a message saying the application Party Poker Mobile Trainer is untrusted and asking you to CONTINUE, select YES.
• Choose if you want to save the application on your phone memory or memory card.
• Make sure the installation bar reaches the end, indicating that the process is complete.
• Go back to main menu and locate Party Poker Mobile Trainer. It can usually be found under 'Applications/Games' or Main Menu.

1.10 How long does the application stay on my phone?

Once you have downloaded the application you can keep it on your phone for as long as you want.

1.11 Can I delete the application?

You will be able to delete the application from your phone at any time. With some phones you may need to use the application manager to delete the games.

1.12 I deleted the application, can I download it again?

Party Poker Mobile Trainer is free of charge so you can always download it again. If you delete the application, just text 'Poker' to 60602

2.1 What is Java?

Java is essentially a programming language that is used to create games and applications. Some phones support downloadable Java/J2Me applications over a WAP connection. This means you can add to your phone's functionality by downloading games and applications to your handset to use whenever you want

2.2 What is WAP?

WAP is short for Wireless Application Protocol; it defines the standards by which Web content may be successfully and efficiently delivered to mobile phones.

2.3 What are WAP settings?

Each phone/operator has specific settings to allow access to WAP pages this capability is necessary to download the application.

2.4 What's a WAP Push?

This is a particular sort of SMS message that makes it easy for you to download application to your mobile. The message contains a link that directs your mobile to a secure site from where Party Poker Mobile Trainer can be downloaded.

2.5 What does it mean the application is untrusted?

This means that there is an incompatibility with the certificates shipped with your phone and the certificates used on the Party Poker Mobile Trainer service. This does not mean that your security is compromised. However, if this message starts to appear after you have been using the service then contact customer support.

3.1 How do I remove content blocking?

You need to verify that you are over the age of 18 with your network operator, usually this means registering your credit card details with them. A guide on how to do this with each network operator can be found below.

Vodafone

You can remove content filtering on your Vodafone handset by using the Vodafone WAP service during the download process. Alternatively you can unblock your phone on-line, by calling Vodafone Customer Services or in person at any Vodafone store.

Vodafone will deduct £1 from your credit card but you will then receive £2.50 worth of credit on your mobile account. If you have any problems during the download process, call Vodafone UK Customer Services:

• Pay Monthly: 191 (mobile phone) or 08700 700 191 (landline)
• Pay as you Talk: 191 (mobile phone) or 08700 77 66 55 (landline)

Orange

On Orange UK you can only remove content blocking via WAP during the download process. If you have any problems during the download process, call Orange Customer Services:

• Pay Monthly: 150 (mobile phone) or 07973 100 150 (landline).
• Pay as you Talk: 450 (mobile phone) or 07973 100 450 (landline).

O2

On O2 UK you can only remove content blocking via WAP during the download process. If you have any problems during the download process, please call O2 Customer Services for more information.

• Pay Monthly: 202 or 402 (mobile phone) or 0870 241 02 02 (landline).
• Pay as you Talk: 08705678678 (mobile phone) or 0870 5 678 678 (landline).

T-Mobile

On T-Mobile UK you can only remove content blocking via WAP during the download process. If you have any problems during the download process, call T-Mobile Customer Services:

• Pay Monthly: 150 (mobile phone) or 08454125000 (landline).
• Pay as you Talk: 150 (mobile phone) or 08454125000 (landline).

Virgin

On Virgin UK you can only remove content blocking via WAP during the download process. If you have any problems during the download process, please call Virgin Customer Services for more information.

• Pay as you Talk: 789 (mobile phone) or 0845 6000 789 (landline).

3.2 I didn't receive the SMS Message/WAP push

• Check your Outbox to see if your text message (requesting the application) was sent.
• If you use Top up cards, check that there is enough credit on your card to pay for your text request.
• Check to see if the SMS Message/WAP Push from us is in your 'Service Messages inbox/Browser Alerts inbox' or just 'Inbox' in some models - wherever your mobile stores WAP Push links.
• Make sure your inbox isn't full.
• The WAP settings on your mobile may be incorrect.
• Your network might be experiencing a high level of traffic, try waiting for 30 minutes in case the SMS Message/WAP Push has been delayed.
• If you still haven't received it, try requesting it again. Party Poker Mobile Trainer is free; you only pay the standard tariff charges set by your service provider for the connection times.

3.3 When I try to download, I get the error message 'Forbidden'.

This means that the WAP gateway you are using to access the site has a limit on the size of downloads you can receive. To avoid this problem, change your WAP settings to a gateway that has no restrictions. If you are unsure how to do this, contact your service provider.

3.4 When I try to download, I get the error message 'File Too Large'. What does this mean?

Some mobiles will not download items over a certain size. Please check your mobile manual for details.

3.5 My download doesn't reach 100% or I get a message saying 'Download Failed'

• Please make sure that your WAP settings are correct.
• Some operators' WAP systems are not yet configured to support Java game downloads. Please check with your operator.
• If your phone memory is full you will need to clear some space by erasing an application. Once you have made some space, you can try downloading Party Poker Mobile Trainer again.

3.6 My download didn't work.

Party Poker Mobile Trainer may have downloaded to a folder where you didn't expect it. Try looking for it in: 'Downloads' or 'Applications' or 'Games'. If it's not there, make sure there is enough room on your mobile for another application.

3.7 I can download but the Installation fails.

Some mobiles will download an application, try to install it and then fail because there isn't enough storage space. This problem is usually solved by deleting other Java applications on your phone and downloading again.

3.8 I get a message saying "Memory Full".

If your phone memory is full you will need to clear some space by erasing an application. Once you have made some space, you can try downloading again.

3.9 Why does my WAP connection fail before I download Party Poker Mobile Trainer ?

Clear the cache in your WAP browser before you try accessing the address again. Check your phone's available free memory. If you are able to see the Party Poker Mobile Trainer description on your phone, it should say how much memory it requires, if your phone's free memory is less than this, you will need to delete some items to make room. Check your phone's manual for details on this limitation and what sort of things you can safely delete.

If you are still unable to download the game, it may be because your phone operator's WAP Gateway is not able to let you download it.

3.10 What happens if I receive a call or SMS while playing?

In most of the newest handsets, you shouldn't experience problems in answering a call or reading a text messages while you're playing, since these devices can run different applications simultaneously. You will be notified of the incoming call or message when you're playing and will be able to return to the game where you left it afterwards.

3.11 Can I turn off the sound?

Yes, by selecting the sound on/off feature on the Game menu.
